How much does it cost to join?

Nothing. Joining videopop.pro is completely free. We take 20% of subscriber payments — that's it. You only pay when you earn.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes. You answer 8 guided questions about your expertise, add some Q&A pairs, upload your knowledge base, choose your avatar and voice, set your pricing, and you're live. No technical skills needed.

How do I get paid?

Through Stripe Connect — the same payment infrastructure used by Shopify and Lyft. You connect your bank account and payments deposit directly. We take our 20% automatically.

Do I need an existing audience?

No. Many creators start with zero followers. Your AI persona page has a shareable link you can post anywhere — TikTok bio, Instagram story, Facebook group. We give you ready-to-use captions for every platform.

Can subscribers tell it's AI?

Yes — and that's fine. Your persona is powered by YOUR knowledge, YOUR expertise, and YOUR personality. Subscribers know they're talking to your AI but they're getting your real answers. Think of it as scaling yourself, not replacing yourself.

What if I work in healthcare or handle sensitive topics?

Our infrastructure is HIPAA-ready. We're built on Anam (SOC2 compliant) and Supabase. If you're a nurse, nutritionist, health coach, or work with sensitive client information, reach out to us directly about our compliance options.

Can I use my own face and voice?

Yes — with our Custom Avatar upgrade at $39/month. We currently have 5 custom avatar slots available for founding creators. Once those are filled we will notify you when more become available. Stock avatars are free forever.

What topics can my persona cover?

Any area of legitimate expertise — fitness, nutrition, finance, legal questions, trades, wellness, spiritual guidance, business coaching, language tutoring, and more. We don't allow adult content or anything that requires a licensed professional to dispense.

Are these real experts?
